I am a mum and wife to a lovely caring family. I’ve suffered with chronic back pain for over 30 years and started writing my first blog in 2007 which covered back and chronic pain. Since then I have written many more blogs for myself and customers. I find it takes me away from my pain to another place. I love it so much I think it should be part of a recovery process after illness or surgery. I hope you enjoy reading through my blogs.

  1. BUXTON Held periodically. Has a number of stalls selling locally sourced pies, cheeses etc and one stall which has started serving locally-reared Buffalo Steaks. Cheeses include :- Cheshire with either Chives and onions, Caramellised onion and one of my favourites – Cheshire with locally brewed Wincle Old Hag Beer and mustard.
For anyone interested, web sites include ‘The Cheshire Cheese Co & Wincle Brewery.

      1. Keep a look-out on the Buxton website since periodically they also have a Continental Market outside the pavilion. Here you can sample lots of ‘foreign’ delicacies, hot and cold. can recommend that you try the Turkish Delight. It is!
Let me get a couple of plugs in here. Buxton holds two festivals annually. A music Festival, and a Gilbert & Sullivan festival, both excellent and worth a visit.
Look out especially for appearances of the Tideswell Male Voice Choir!!!!! We have some excellent singers, are accompanied by a superb concert pianist, a fantastic conductor, and include in our shows some first-class young soloists of both sexes. To find out more, visit our website – TideswellMVC.com
        End of commercial.
