Great recipe book!
What a great recipe book! Having watched Giuseppe on GBBO I had great expectations for this book and he delivered 100%. Beautifully written and great photos. I love the fact that there is a mix of sweet and savoury recipes. The instructions are very easy to follow, and the fact that he gives you alternative ingredients if you cannot find a specific one was very helpful. I have tried the focaccia (delicious) and will be working my way through the book. Very happy with my purchase and will be buying a few as Christmas gifts. This book is truly for everyone, beginners and experienced bakers alike!

Lovely Italian cakes
It’s a book for any homebaker and fan of Italy. There are many classics in it with beautiful photos and family stories. I love that he made some video tutorials for the recipes to help with shaping, etc., which are accessible with QR codes. Those make it a good choice for beginners, too.

I am really happy that I bought this book. Lots of really delicious recipes and very detailed descriptions. It is clear that Giuseppe took great care and attention to detail while writing this book. It is also not just a collection of amazing bakes, it takes the reader on a little tour around Italy!

I have never written an Amazon review before, but, as an Italian, I felt compelled to write one this time. The book is fantastic, a great collection of traditional (tiramisuâ, pastiera, frappe, focaccia, piadina) and less known recipes, with detailed instructions, amazing photos and a bit of history on the dish. It includes a good mix of simpler and more complex bakes, so you can pick and choose depending on available time and experience and of course there is pizza.A must have in the kitchen (Italian or not)!

I have only made a few recipes but every one has turned out so delicious and gets rave reviews. Love the pizza cooking technique he shared and the tiramisu recipe is so simple and absolutely delicious. The writing style is also great, itâs very conversational and uses great queues to look for to help you get the recipe right. Looking forward to continuing to explore this beautiful Italian cookbook!
