Great book with lots of ideas
This book has lots of different bakes with photos to go with them! Its lovely as a gift or if you are a baker as it shows you things to make you wouldn’t have necessarily thought of such as macaroons for valentines day! There are some seasonal bakes such as a cake for easter! All the bakes have turned out spectacular and I would recommend this book!

  9. Heather

It’s a cute book, with alot of fun recipes and photos (I hate baking books that dont have photos of each recipe – why bother?). It does use self raising flour, which is kind of annoying – but it’s easy to substitute. I’m happy with this purchase.

Well- i was ready to bake simething and wanted to try the mini loaf cake. However- the specific size of dispoable mini loaf pan would’ve been helpful. The mini loaf pans come in all different mini sizes, so now- I gave up.——Update: finally did the mini loaf. Serves 12??? What a joke! More like serves 2-3!!! Idk. Maybe the cake would’ve taste better if it had more batter in each! What I had was a nice crispy dried cake! Also, the cake has no milk/sour cream so how can I be moist? It will definitely NOT be moist day after! This is the most basic cake yet it failed. The frosting is so thick, I had to dilute it with heavycream/milk, or youre not going to be able to frost that cake. At least, not nicely! I’m so annoyed. You should never bake from this book if youre not having a good day already!!!!
