The National Wool Show takes part on the 9th & 10th of April.
The National Wool Show is the new ‘everything about wool’ event held in the centre of England, bringing together independents, small businesses and retailers for all your woolly loves – knitting, crochet, needlefelt and more.
The event is held at the award-winning Coventry Building Society Arena in Coventry, which can showcase over 150 exhibitors selling everything you need to work wonders with your woolly creations, and will include demos and workshops to help learn new tricks, or improve your skills. Their dedicated ‘knit & natter’ area is the perfect space for those who have met online during the lockdown, to meet in person for the first time. The show runs from 9am to 5pm on the 9th/10th of April.

The Great Wool Weekend at RHS Garden Rosemoor, EX38 8PH – 9th/10th April
Be part of The Great Wool Weekend at RHS Garden Rosemoor, where once again, they aim to celebrate the multitude of ways that wool and yarn can be used practically and creatively in our daily lives.
They are looking to inspire visitors to become involved in finding a new skill and taking home gifts from an array of exhibitors, who will be joining them in the Garden Room and throughout the garden.
Learn something new on your visit with exciting crafts from Magpie and Hook. Join them on the Learning Centre lawn for drop-in workshops, including crochet necklaces/hairbands, needle felted nest weaving and woolly embroidery.
You’ll get the chance to meet some rare breed alpacas, and the lady from Lydford Gorge Alpacas will share more about these wonderful animals. Also, watch out for the sheepdog and his mischievous sheep characters, they might try and get you herded up and into their pen.
So, don’t miss out on a weekend of crafts, demonstrations, yarn bombing and all things woolly at RHS Garden Rosemoor.
Spring into Wool over the 9th/10th of April Great Wool Weekend at The Grammer School at Leeds for a Festival of Woolly Crafts.
The perfect event for all lovers of knitting, crochet, feltmaking, weaving, spinning, dyeing, and all things woolly! With 90 amazing stalls, superb workshops and free demos. Workshops should be booked in advance.
