AFTERNOON TEA WEEK 9th-15th AUGUST DELICIOUS OFFERS…

With Afternoon Tea Week starting tomorrow until the 15th August, now is the time to go somewhere a bit special and enjoy a delicious Afternoon Tea.

One of the best sites to find where the latest offers are is the Afternoon Tea Company

Afternoon Tea Week celebrates the great British tradition of Afternoon Tea and is the perfect excuse to catch up with loved ones over a cup of tea and some delicacies.

This year’s Afternoon Tea Week will take place from 9th – 15th August and venues across the UK will run a selection of exclusive discounts and exciting events to pay tribute to the nation’s favourite pastime.

#AfternoonTeaWeek – There marvellous venues are offering exclusive promotions, menus and special events to celebrate the nation’s favourite past time. If you click on this link here you will find 39 offers across the UK.

Other companies to try that have amazing Afternoon Tea offers are Wowcher, Girls Afternoon Tea, Buy a Gift, Red Letter Days , Living Social and Exclusive Collection.

If you cannot make it to a special afternoon tea during this week then keep your eyes open for the many charities that also hold afternoon teas throughout the year.

I have written on a few of them on my Awareness Days posts. Breast Cancer Now are always advertising ‘Afternoon Tea Fund Raising Events’. Another company who specialises in Afternoon Teas specifically for charity is Charity Cream Teas Society.

The Cream Tea Society also want to encourage people to donate to a charity of their choice where possible. To date, Rodda’s and Tiptree, the founders of National Cream Tea Day, have helped raise over £500,000 for charities across the UK. Each year the Cream Tea Society pledges 50,000 portions of Rodda’s clotted cream and Tiptree jam to organisations nationwide to help raise money and make cream tea celebrations truly delicious.

From sharing a scone or two in the garden with your family, to organising your own facetime bake-a-long with friends, there are lots of ways you can connect with loved ones, before sharing those images on social media and showing your delicious jam and cream creations to the nation, and raise funds for a great charity at the same time.

I am a mum and wife to a lovely caring family. I’ve suffered with chronic back pain for over 30 years and started writing my first blog in 2007 which covered back and chronic pain. Since then I have written many more blogs for myself and customers. I find it takes me away from my pain to another place. I love it so much I think it should be part of a recovery process after illness or surgery. I hope you enjoy reading through my blogs.
