It’s Baking time for many charities throughout the summer with lots of afternoon teas and coffee morning events raising funds for different charities. If you haven’t taken part in one of these before then why not hold one this year.
Meningitis UK Sign up to host a Time 4 Tea event this September simply fill out the registration form on the Meningitis UK site for a fund-raising pack full of party tips and goodies.
The National Osteoporosis raised over £10,000 in the last three years from proceeds from coffee mornings and so again are looking for people to sign up and hold another coffee morning. For details go to The National Osteoporosis site and register for their fund-raising pack.
Breast Cancer Care hold their fund raising Strawberry Teas from 1st June – 31st August so you haven’t long left to get this event sorted. Simply get together with friends and family, buy or bake the cakes, add some strawberries, put the kettle on and away you go! Head to their website for more details.
If you can’t manage to hold one yourself, you only need to tap into Google ‘Charity Afternoon Tea’ and a list of events a mile long will come up so go on out there and enjoy a lovely Afternoon Tea while supporting a good cause.

You certainly have things organised in the UK.
I think Breast Cancer hand the first one as I did one many years ago for them, and then everyone else jumped on the bandwagon as its such an easy way to raise funds 🙂
