    The ‘Cake and Bake Show’ is the first ‘live’ event dedicated to the world of cake, breads and the art of cooking.

    Its being held at Earls Court in London on the 22nd/23rd September.

    Star speakers include Mary Berry, Paul Hollywood Eric Lanlard, Juliet Sear, Mich Turner and many more.

      Well I hope it’s a good deal more interesting than the one at EXCEL London I went to in the spring….what a load of rubbish…hundreds of stalls selling muffin tins and cupcake holders…with acres of artificially coloured cake icing…and displays of highly-decorated show cakes…nothing one could actually EAT!!! It was called THE CAKE SHOW…absolutely nothing to do with CAKES and ENGLISH BAKING….for the over-priced tickets I could have made several proper-sized English Afternoon Teas…and bought several fancy tins from Fortnum and Mason.
