    Easy Chocolate Mousse Recipe
    Ingredients

    12oz/350g Good Quality Dark Chocolate
    1/2oz/1.5g butter (unsalted)
    1 tablespoon Cointreau
    4 Large Eggs

    Method
Break the chocolate into small pieces and put them in a bowl with 4 tablespoons of cold water. Set bowl over a pan of gently simmering water and leave the chocolate to melt or pop into your microwave oven.

When melted stir continuously for 5 mins and then add your butter and Cointreau. Separate the eggs and whisk the whites until stiff. Beat the yolks into the slightly cooked chocolate mixture, then gently fold in the whites.

Spoon the mousse into individual ice cream cones or pastry cases or cups and leave put into fridge to set for half an hour. Finish (if you prefer) with whipped cream.

Oh aat it is, it really is and has been my signature pudding for many a year – just as a plain chocolate mousse so I had to think of another way of using it, hence the above 🙂
