Our new year was spent at Chesford Grange Hotel in Kenilworth, Warwickshire ( A QHotel).

We arrived to a beautiful afternoon tea which included the best scones I think I have ever tasted.

Chesford Grange is a luxurious hotel, set in 17 acres of private grounds and woodlands in the heart of Warwickshire’s countryside. Set in Shakespeare country and only minutes from the Midland’s motorway network (the M6, M42, M40, M69 and A46) the hotel has the benefits of not just a peaceful, relaxing environment but is also easily accessible to busy towns and tourist attractions.

So on New Years Eve (day time) we popped to the nearby town of Royal Leamington Spa and enjoyed yet another cream tea for our lunch. The New Years Eve Gala was absolutely fantastic and we all enjoyed it so much we will definitely be going back again next year.

      Mmmm. Cream tea … yum.

Warwickshire’s my old stamping ground! We often went to Leamington for a day off. It’s a lovely town.

High gill, happy new year to you. I’d never been to Leamington before and I absolutely loved it and next time we go I want to go around Warwick castle. It was a lovely area.
