What better time to eat street food than when the sun is shining and there’s summer in the air? An excellent app to have by your side as you pound the pavements of Britain, British St, Food is co-ordinated by respected journalist and founder of the British Street Food Awards, Richard Johnson, offering direct access to the best stalls, vans and vintage trucks serving up street food in the UK.
Connecting street traders with punters via live GPS maps showing who is trading where and when, British St, Food allows any street food trader to upload all his or her pitch details and daily specials, whereupon users are encouraged to photograph, rate and review the food on offer.
Street Food lovers using the app can also mark their favourites and can suggest a trader if they stumble across something that isn’t, but should be, featured. This is a slickly designed app and, once it gathers momentum, is sure to be a huge success.
