The Langham Hotel in London and it’s sister properties, in Auckland, Boston, Hong Kong, Melbourne, Pasadena and Shanghi are going to celebrates its opening in 1865 by offering an afternoon tea for the pice of one shilling six pence, the 1865 price.
This years guests are requested to wear a touch of pink which is Langham’s own signature colour.
The event will be supported by campaigns on Facebook and Kaixin where contestants have the opportunity to win an afternoon tea by answering the question, ‘If you could have anything for afternoon tea, what would it be?’ and emailing a photo to be uploaded via tea@langhamhotels.com
Winners will be selected on the basis of originality, creativity and popularity.
The event is on the 10th June and they expect demand to be high so booking requests have to be placed before the 31st May, 2011.
