It’s nearly that time of year again. The Good Food Show in Birmingham is the highlight in the food industries calender.
I’ve been many times and absolutely love it but will have to miss it this year due to my foot operation.
This year they have lots of chefs doing live gigs from James Martin, Rick Stein, Michael Caines, and Glynn Purnell to name a few.
There are 400 exhibitors selling anything and everything to do with food. You can also enjoy the Producer’s Village which is packed with small speciality produce who specialise in local and seasonal produce. In the food village you can taste their different types of food and in the main exhibition hall you can taste every type of drink under the sun.
Just remember that it’s a long day so wear comfortable shoes and if you want to see any of the master chefs then you will have to book tickets to go to the shows.
There is also a master chef experience brought to life at the show and on the first day the winner of Radio 4’s Food and Farming Award will be announced in a ceremony to be broadcast on Radio 4’s, The Food Programme.
