According to the ‘Tea House Times’, the book ‘The Users Guide to Scone Making and Scone Mixes’, has won the 2012 New Product Award from the World Tea Expo in the category of Nest New Publication.
The Book is a concise guide complete with photos, and how to’s of scone making in general and flavour creations in particular.
Written by Debbie Anderson to accompany Victorian House Scones Mixes, the principles are universal and apply whether you are working with their mixes or using your own recipe.
Would be a lot of interest in these recipes.
The older generation I am sure would lie to browse through them 🙂
Thank you for noticing! We’re pleased about the award, and looking forward to showing off the guide at World Tea Expo in 2 weeks. There are no recipes per se in the book, it is a how-to guide on taking either a plain mix or basic scone recipe and altering the additions to create any flavor you can imagine. We Americans like to be creative with our flavors! We are also planning to offer the book in an ebook format–likely something we will finalize shortly after our return from World Tea Expo–so look for it sometime in mid to late June as an e-book.
Hi Debbie, thanks for your comments, do keep in touch with your ebook and how things go at the tea expo, I’m sure my readers will be very interested. 🙂
