Did you know that the average person in the UK spends a whopping Â£451 each year on takeaways?

Though a convenient option, it’s not always the healthiest or most sustainable. This is why Women for Women are calling on you to ditch the styrofoam containers and for less than your average takeaway for 2, changing the life of a woman survivor of war.

Other companies getting involved in the #World Food Day are the MicroLoan Foundation who say the poverty gap for women and girls is growing. Together we can help 50,000 women build brighter futures before the end of this year. Let’s create change that echoes for generations. MicroLoan wants to change the narrative and end 2020 with optimism for the years ahead. Thousands of women across Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe are looking for an opportunity to work their way out of poverty. We want to give them the chance to change their futures. More details on how you can donate to this cause are also on there website.
