If successful you will be hired to sample different tea brands and a range of milk, as well as drink-making methods, as part of content research for the marketplace’s website.
As well as payment for making and drinking the tea, the company are providing the candidates with a weekly supply of biscuits as it states a ‘Builder’s Brew isn’t complete without a biscuit to dunk’.

We’re excited to announce that we’re looking for our very first band of ‘Builder’s Brewers’ as we hope to discover what makes the ‘ultimate Builder’s Brew’!
As a nation of tea lovers, we want to reveal to our customers what makes the best tea; the go-to drink for any workman. We are recruiting three people for the unique role to help create content on our website – a guide to making the ‘ultimate Builder’s Brew’ for our valued customers.
With a salary of £500 for the two-week-long role, the ‘Builder’s Brewers’ will be hired to sample tea brands, a range of both dairy and plant-based milk, and the addition of sugar and sweetener, taking notes on the combinations that make the best brew.
As well as taste, the professional brewers will also have to discover the optimal drinking temperature, what type of drinkware is best (mugs or flasks) and explore what version of the drink and type of biscuits are best for ‘dunking’.
Candidates must be fluent in written English and be over the age of 18. No previous qualifications or experience are required for the role; however, we do encourage anyone who has a love of tea to apply!
We can also confirm that as a range of products will be tested across the three professionals, people with allergies and various diets are encouraged to apply too as we want to ensure our research and findings are universal to everyone.

As a successful Builder’s Brewer, you’ll be expected to:
- Sample different brands of tea, sugar, sweetener, biscuits, and a range of both dairy and plant-based milks
- Trial the best drinking temperatures and drinkware to consume tea
- Feed back your findings and opinions to our team at MaterialsMarket.com who will work with you to create onsite content guides for our customers
- Attend a judging day, when you are invited to our office to demonstrate your findings and have your version of the ‘ultimate Builder’s Brew’ judged internally by the leadership team
- Have good communication skills
- Speak fluent English
