    AFTERNOON TEA IS THE NEW ‘BLACK’…

    According to ‘Reuters’, afternoon tea is the new ‘black’. It doesn’t matter if you are holding a business meeting or a party, everyone wants to have an afternoon tea rather than a lunch or coffee.

    And, it’s not just popular in the UK, the word is spreading around the world. In Canada Laurier House, which was once occupied by Canada’s political Prime Minister’s is now being used to serve afternoon teas on the houses ‘Grand Veranda’.

    It’s also being serve at some of Ontario’s finest Hotel’s and Inn’s.

    In the US they are holding a ‘Jane Austen Tea Party’. They are going to step back in time with Elizabeth Bennett and Mr Darcy for an afternoon tea at the Green Spring Gardens www.greenspring.org the literary afternoon includes excerpts, recipes and quotations from the works of the 19th Century author.
