It’s National Cupcake Week from 12th – 18th September, so apron’s on to celebrate cupcakes of every shape and decoration, created by British Baker Magazine.
Last year David Bennet of Sunshine Baking in Leeds was crowned Cupcake Champion of Britain 2010, with a winning recipe of mango cupcake.

I always thought cupcakes were an American thing – clearly I am wrong!
They originated there but have become very popular over here now 🙂
I’m puzzled that cupcakes should get a whole week, when talking like a pirate only gets one day.
lol, I’m just as puzzled walrus :)):):)
I’d prefer my apple crumble….:>> ;)xx
Hmm, now that is one rather big decision I would find hard to make Bushka, both would probably be the answer for me, lol, greedy or what :):)
I love these, they are so pretty like jewels but tasty 😀
I’ve never made one but they are really just large fairy cakes, yum, yum, :):)
I love them, I do find the shop bought look a lot better than they taste though. Homemade are fabulous 🙂
I love cupcakes and am just now finding this out…
but if you love cupcakes you should try cakeballs.
My friends and I have made them a couple times and it is fun.
There’s no specific way to make them just add frosting to a crumbled up cake and form balls. We dipped ours in chocolate, white and black, then added sprinkles.
thanks for the info.
please comment back….
🙂
Sounds good cakeballz. I’ve never hear of them before. Thanks for passing through 🙂
no problem
let me know what you think of them when you make them
