    Cake

    EASY VICTORIA SANDWICH LOAF CAKE…

    Ingredients
    175g Self Raising Flour
    175g Caster Sugar
    175g Butter or Flora
    3 Eggs (beaten)
    1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
    2 Tablespoons Milk
    1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
    1 Tablespoon Icing Sugar
    Strawberry Jam

    Method
    Preheat oven to Gas Mark 4, 180C and 350F
    Line your loaf tin.
    Place all the ingredients into a bowl and whisk together for no more than 2 minutes
    Pour into a loaf tin and bake for 40-50 mins or until your skewer comes out clean
    Place your cake on a wire rack to cool
    Slice the cake in half, lengthwise
    Spread with strawberry jam to suit your taste
    Sprinkle the top with icing sugar

    EASY SLIMMING VICTORIA SANDWICH LOAF CAKE…

    Ingredients

    175g Self Raising Flour
    75g Caster Sugar
    100g Splenda or similar lite sugar
    75g Low Fat Spread
    100g Flora Cuisine
    3 Eggs (beaten)
    1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
    2 Tablespoons Skimmed Milk
    1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
    Low Calorie Strawberry Jam

    Prepare and bake the same as above except without the icing sugar on top.

        I am definitely going to put my loaf cake recipes together in an ebook version with slimming ways of having them as well. Hopefully soon, so you will have them all to try then bda. For free of course :)):)

            Ohh, how exciting, I love getting new kitchen gadgets. I will work hard at it for you over the next month as I have to have surgery on my foot (Osteoarhtritis) on the 20th October and will be laid up for a while after it. 🙂
