Farmhouse Breakfast Week is 23rd – 29th January 2011 – we all know we should be eating a good breakfast, and this is the week to take some time over the most important meal of the day. But not just that, the aim is to encourage people to think about where their food is coming from, so head down to your local farmers market and stock up on the best bacon, sausages, fruit and free range eggs. The France Show is 14th – 16th January 2011 at Earls Court Exhibition Centre, which will host the biggest French market ever seen in the UK. With over 50 hand-selected French artisans, there will be a vast array of gourmet foods to try and buy.

The Outdoors Show is 13th – 16th January 2011 at Excel, London. The Outdoors Show is joining forces with the London Boat Show and the London Bike Show to create a supershow, with a Food Lovers Approved market area to see, taste and buy local and regional produce.

The Hampshire Potato Day is 29th – 30th January at Testbourne Community Centre, Michedever Road, Whitchurch, Hampshire. There will be talks, planting and growing advice, over 140 varieties of potato’s, competition and more.
