Afternoon Tea in the Main Hall
The Pop Up Afternoon Tea will be served every day from 18th July until 28th August, offering a unique experience for both Londoners and visitors to the capital looking to enjoy a truly English tradition.
Dine in style with Afternoon Tea under the only surviving in-situ ceiling painting of Peter Paul Rubens, the crowning glory of Inigo Jones’s building. The Banqueting House is probably most famous for the execution of King Charles I in 1649, who stepped directly on to the scaffold from an upstairs window, specially removed for the occasion.
Afternoon Tea costs £30.50 per person including the Palace entrance fee.

A bit of history there. Talking of history, have you seen the King of Tonga on TV with his top hat and monocle?
No hutt I have not seen King of Tonga – is it still on and if so what side is it on? sounds really interesting 🙂
He is THE King of Tonga! He is the pompous dickhead of a ruler, who has top-hat and monocle, of this polynesian island state.
Thanks for that hutt, I will definitely not forget who Tonga is in the future :):)
