With children now getting more and more interested in baking I thought this small family run business www.mummys-yummies.com was brilliant.
It has be set up to bring the fun and ease back into the kitchen for children. Their pre-weighed ‘cake and cookie mixes’, are made using only the highest quality natural ingredients, including organic flour, and come packaged in both smart Kilner Jars and mixed boxes.
I don’t know about you but my first memories of cooking were making rock buns at school and fairy cakes with Mum in the kitchen, with half of the cake mixture left in the bowl for us to lick up with our fingers.
With so many families buying ready made cakes nowadays its a shame that they miss out on such a valuable and bonding time with Mum or Gran. I know if I had some grandchildren that this would be something I would love to buy for them.

Two of my granddaughters like to bake when they come over – not very good at cleaning up though!
Ah, bless – yes I must admit you can’t half leave a mess when you are baking – I do bet they love it though 🙂 x
They like buying the cake,scone and other mixes and come home and bake – and granddad has to clean up after them. They taste pretty good, so I don’t really mind.
What a fabulous Grandad they have 🙂
