I also run CAKE BAKING COURSES!
I note your “TOP SIX” are well-distributed around the UK, but may I tell you about my courses based in the SOUTH EAST….very easy access from London by HIGH-SPEED train from London St Pancras to Folkestone, as well as motorway by car, and coach service from London Victoria.
Prices are clearly-shown on my website englishafternoontea.com
Although they are priced at just over £100, they are PACKED with tuition and information on a one-to-one basis: day courses include light lunch, whilst the 5 day course offers a saving as well as grand-finale tea party. Course prices include all ingredients, recipes and notes/bibliography, plus an eco cotton souvenir bag and baked goods to take home.
If two friends wish to attend together I do offer a discount which I will discuss on receipt of a genuine enquiry.
I respond to every e-mail personally and will create a course to suit the tea-lover’s schedule if required.
All my students leave well-satisfied and I will cater for differing levels of ability. Look forward to hearing from you!

      Hi Carolyn,
Feel free to message me with your details and maybe some pics then I can do a review on your cake courses. It’s true there are not many mentioned outside London but I guess it’s just because they get the monopoly.

Yours sounds good, look forward to hearing from you.
