My daughter bought me an afternoon tea voucher as part of my Christmas present so today my husband and I went to enjoy our treat at the Brook Whipper In Hotel in Oakham, Rutland, www.brook-hotels.co.uk
Oakham is a small market town with a host of things to do and famous for its private school. It has a picturesque castle and museum and a busy Friday market. The afternoon tea was delicious which as you can see from my photo was bursting with gorgeous sandwiches, scones and cakes. On a nice day (it was raining today) it could be enjoyed in there beautiful courtyard where we saw the biggest wall flower baskets we have ever seen.
You clearly had a fabulous time…;)xxx
Bless her, she knows just what we like 🙂
I thought it was amazing day. 🙂
You go to some great little places for special food?
We do, but Jackie (my daughter) knows what we love 🙂
