It’s never too later to join in and help MacMillan raise funds for MacMillan Nurses and people suffering from cancer by having a coffee morning. They have two kits to choose from to help your event go with a bang.
Choose from two kits: the classic with bunting, balloons and a tablecloth, or our lighter kit with less paper and no plastic.
Whatever your reason to host, your support has the power to raise vital funds for people living with cancer. The official coffee morning date is 30 September, but you can hold yours whenever you like.
The MacMillan’s Coffee Morning is their biggest fundraising event to support people living with cancer.
People all over the UK host their own Coffee Morning and donations raised on the day are made to Macmillan.
A Coffee Morning can be whatever you want it to be. It could be at home, on your driveway, in a hall or online, whatever suits you best. You can hold a garden get-together and throw a barbeque, treat your colleagues to some homemade bakes, or even get together with friends for a takeaway.
In 2021, they raised over £11 million and hope to top that this year.
The first Macmillan Coffee Morning happened way back in 1990. It was a rather small affair with a simple idea: guests would gather over coffee and donate the cost of their cuppa to Macmillan in the process. It was so effective, that they did it again the next year – only this time nationally. Since then, Coffee Morning has raised over £290 million for Macmillan.
Having a Coffee Morning is the perfect chance to catch up over a cuppa and a slice of something delicious for a great cause.
One in two of us will face cancer, and the money you raise at your Coffee Morning will help everyone with cancer to live life as fully as they can.
