WRAPPING PAPER IDEAS THAT WON’T COST A FORTUNE…

  1. Newspaper – It is an incredible option for eco-friendly gift wrapping for a number of reasons; it’s recyclable, it’s an item that many receive for free or for a very reasonable price, and it also comes with a design that will make every present unique. My daughter has used this for her girl’s presents a lot recently.
  2. Fabric – Wrapping in old fabric is a great idea that will save you a lot of money. You could even cut it up to use as ribbon if so desired. I am sure most of us have an old sheet, used clothing, tea towels etc.
  3. Re-usable gift bags – I have used these for years and make my own gift tags for them.
  4. Used brown paper bags – a number of shops or items I have bought online have been sent to me in a brown gift bag. Some have their logo on them but I have still reused them as they look so lovely.
  5. Plain brown paper – this can be bought very cheaply and can soon be done up to look like something special.
  6. Last year’s calendar – Another great one for small gifts or to keep for a birthday on that specific month.
  7. Old baskets or hampers – if you do not have any you can buy them cheap enough from the £1 shop and could be filled with food or other items for that special person.
  8. Old Maps – as we don’t use these anymore they can make a lovely gift wrap.
  9. Boxes – I am sure you have all had something delivered in a box over the last few weeks. Just peel off the stickers and wrap some ribbon around the box and it will look amazing.
  10. Old Socks – these are great for body lotion bottles, perfume bottles etc.

I am a mum and wife to a lovely caring family. I’ve suffered with chronic back pain for over 30 years and started writing my first blog in 2007 which covered back and chronic pain. Since then I have written many more blogs for myself and customers. I find it takes me away from my pain to another place. I love it so much I think it should be part of a recovery process after illness or surgery. I hope you enjoy reading through my blogs.
