“CHARITEA” Eve Appeal, for Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month…

Afternoon tea

March is ‘Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month’, and they are asking you to make time for tea this month by holding a tea party and celebrate the revival of all things vintage, to help save the lives of the women we love.

This year – the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee – they are inviting you to celebrate vintage glamour: fabulous frocks, retro crockery, kitsch cupcakes… Bring out the porcelain and get family, friends, and colleagues together for some classic fun at a quintessentially British tea party.

The campaign which is now in it’s 7th year, with it’s vintage theme will be spearheaded by Lorraine Kelly, has also put together a competition. Supporters will have the chance to meet Lorraine Kelly and will be invited to the live filming of ‘Lorraine’ at ITV Studios in London followed by brunch at a top London hotel – and winners will also be treated to a professional cupcake master class.
All you have to do is hold a tea party and send your money in by 31st May 2012 and you will be entered into the following categories:

Highest fund-raising tea party
Most beautiful cupcakes (send in photos with your funds)
Best vintage-dressed host (send in photos with your funds)

I am a mum and wife to a lovely caring family. I’ve suffered with chronic back pain for over 30 years and started writing my first blog in 2007 which covered back and chronic pain. Since then I have written many more blogs for myself and customers. I find it takes me away from my pain to another place. I love it so much I think it should be part of a recovery process after illness or surgery. I hope you enjoy reading through my blogs.
