A POEM ON PERSIAN TEA…

A Cup of Persian Tea

Fragrance of saffron fills the air
as the teapot’s steam flies around
crystal cups sit on a steel tray
along with cookies and rock candies
on a colorful carpet in the yard

Hot black tea pours into cups
damask rose petals float on top
as honey slowly dissolves
one sip and the cinnamon taste
casts a spell of peace on mind

In the frosty mornings of winter
or under the heat of summer’s sun
together we build sweet memories
and relax with a smile
drinking a cup of Persian tea

I am a mum and wife to a lovely caring family. I’ve suffered with chronic back pain for over 30 years and started writing my first blog in 2007 which covered back and chronic pain. Since then I have written many more blogs for myself and customers. I find it takes me away from my pain to another place. I love it so much I think it should be part of a recovery process after illness or surgery. I hope you enjoy reading through my blogs.
