With Vintage back en vogue at the moment, its no surprise that some of the old recipes are coming back onto our food tables. One popular one which hasn’t changed an ounce since the 1950’s is Chocolate Macaroons.

    Ingredients

    2 rounded tablespoons of sugar
    1 tablespoon Bourneville Cocoa Powder
1 flat tablespoon of butter or margarine
    4 tablespoons rolled oats
    1 tablespoon milk
    Vanilla Essence

    Method
Melt sugar, milk and margarine in a pan then stir in the cocoa vanilla essence and rolled oats
Mix well, place on greaseproof paper in the fridge until set
