I don’t know about you but the name of this tea shop makes my mouth water. The Marshmallow Restaurant and Tea Room is in Moreton-in-Marsh which they call the gateway to the Cotswolds.
This is an award winning licensed restaurant and tea room which was awarded to them by the Tea Guild of Excellence. They have kept the award since 2006, which is awarded annually to the top 40 Guild Members in the whole of the UK.
This is also mentioned in Margaret Thornbys Tea and Tea Talk Magazine. The Chef has in the past had the honour of supervising and preparing for the Queen during a Royal Tour of India ! The Marshmallow is also renowned for it’s speciality teas offering over 30 different flavours.
Their high tea menu includes Smoked Salmon sandwiches, Cream Cheese & Cucumber sandwiches, Homemade Fruit Scone with Strawberry Jam and Clotted Cream with a choice of cake from their trolley and a pot of tea.

Marshmellow Fans…..Are You There? 😉
Yes please :))
Just don’t go on market day it’s so crowded with coach loads of pensioners on a day trip and you have a job to park.
Thanks spiritbird, I and many others reading this will remember that 🙂
Sounds divine 😀
All afternoon teas menu’s make my mouth water, but like I said to Tom, I was expecting something with marshmallow’s in it. 🙂
Food, food. Actually I bought some chocolate cake and melting moments today because we were having a visitor, a family support person we have had during the years of our grandson’s illness. She brought some cake too. But I have eaten three of the six melting moments myself, the last one a few moments ago with my last cup of tea for the day. A treat, really!
Oh, do stop it hutt, you have gone and got my chocolate juices going now and I’ve been trying to give up chocolate (milk only) for lent :)):))
