And I find chopsticks frankly distressing. Am I alone in thinking it odd that a people ingenious enough to invent paper, gunpowder, kites and any number of other useful objects, and who have a noble history extending back 3,000 years haven’t yet worked out that a pair of knitting needles is no way to capture food?

I must admit I have read his books and sometimes laugh out loud and other times find them a tad boring but that’s entirely my choice 🙂 but I did like his quote above :))

So does my son gilly, as I said to Bushka, I’ve read his books as i always bought them for my son and sometimes would laugh out loud, other times I was struggling with them, but that’s entirely my choice, but I thought the above quote was wicked 🙂

I love eating with chopsticks, it makes me feel really sophisticated somehow.

I’m useless at it, I need to practice more at home, :))

But it is a marvellous way to concentrate the mind on what one is eating – which results in less gorging and more appreciation of good food and leads to better health. So possibly Bill has missed the point on this particular issue. ;p

Your right there banana, my other half always asks for a fork in a Chinese restaurant as his food would be cold by the time he’d eaten them with chopsticks and he hates cold food. Must try it at home sometime to help me eat less as I also HATE cold food. :):)
