    I LOVE TEA

According to The Daily Mail the typically British cuppa has now changed to posh teas with green teas, fruit teas, infusions and iced tea selling in greater numbers than ever.

In 2013 Brits drank 91,000 tonnes of tea compared with 61,000 tonnes of coffee. Also a third of us think herbal tea is healthier than standard tea.

Some of the popular alternative teas are Twinings Lemon and Ginger, Waitrose and Ocado Manghajo Pomegrante and Green Iced Tea, Taylors of Harrogate Sweet Rhubarb which is also available at Sainsbury’s and Ocado. Others include Hampstead Tea Organic Elderflower Iced Tea, Taste the Difference Double Mint Tea from Sainsbury’s and Dragonfly Jasmine Dragon Pearls China Green Tea from Ocado. Marks and Spencers Raspberry and Roolbos iced tea and finally Little Miracles Organic White Tea and Ginseng.

I like a ‘fruit tea’ made with liquorice and cinnamon with a touch of cocoa bean. And the traditional cuppa of course.
