If you don’t already know, on Friday 30st September, the world’s biggest coffee morning will be held for its 21st year, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

If you drop into Marks and Spencer between the 3rd August – 4th October, and buy from a range of specially selected sandwiches and treats and drinks, you will help raise money for Macmillan.

On Friday 30th September, 50pence for every cup will go to Macmillan Cancer Support and if you want to register your event which could be a coffee morning, an afternoon tea, garden party or even a wine tasting, just go to http://coffee.macmillan.org.uk/Home.aspx or call 0845 043 0081

Thanks for raising awareness to this Barbara. I was only saying yesterday to a friend whose sister is undergoing treatment how the Macmillan nurses were a great comfort to us when my parents were in hospital – they offer lots of valuable advice

Like I said to Bushka, there is so much fund raising going on for the terrible famine, that the ones closest to us get forgotten. They are an amazing source of comfort to sufferers. 🙂
